Tami, Terrie and Tessanne Chin opens new blow dry bar coined (wait for it)… BLOW BY BLOW!
Opening in the Loshusan Shopping Centre this April, Blow by Blow will be bringing a whole’ lotta’ new to the Jamaican beauty scape.
Laurie-Ann Chin (Miss Jamaica World 2014) was also rumoured to be a part of the BxB team, we can now confirm that she is in fact in with the chins.
“Beauty has always been a passion of mine. When I met with Tami and she walked me through the concept I was immediately sold.” – An enthusiastic Chin said.
Laurie joins the Girl Bosses to “gain experience” in business management and hands-on beauty care under the tutelage of Terrie Williamson (UK Pro Hair Stylist) and 1/3 of “The Chinity”.
Whether you have natural tresses or not - getting a blowout is an experience for all, and now there’s somewhere that specializes in it. Among the BxB offerings is also the very necessary mani/pedis and gel manicures, Lash Extensions by FabuLashes and wait for it - tape in extensions! The skinny on that later.
The chins have always been badass hair gurus with Tami cutting and coloring all her friends hair as well as her own for years, so a hop into the beauty industry does not come as a surprise.
“We’re using specially selected shampoos and conditioners based on the hair needs of each of our clients specifically, there’s no ‘one size fits all’ here. We’re aiming for the best in bespoke blows (lol)” – Tami Chin
