Just a week after appointing Peter Copping (Formerly of Nina Ricci) as Creative Director Oscar De La Renta is dead. For 50+ years De La Renta churned out collections after collections of beautiful couture gowns and suits with utter feminine class, shape, glamour and appeal. Highly revered for his bridal gowns the House's last wedding gown before his passing was that of George Clooney's now wife Amal Clooney.
His work will forever be remembered and the essesnce of him will remain in his house forever. Rest in peace Oscar De La Renta.
