Model Sky Nicole Grey recently tied the knot with filmaker Luke Flynn off familiar shores.
Port Antonio, the perfectly unkept haven of glamour, history and romance is the chic caribbean côte d'azur scores of modern day Hepburns and Kelly’s call home (for the holidays). Known to lull mavens, tycoons and hollywood stars into a transic state of private luxury and peace is also the star location in the story of the Flynns. Decades later the Flynn Dynasty sees a revival of history when Luke Flynn marries Sky Nicole Grey; model/actress/singer.
A little education on the Flynn Family would illuminate the fact that Luke was originally born 'Luke Stoecker' to model mother Arnella Flynn and rockstar photog Karl Stoecker. Through losing a mother to drug abuse and a grandfather who lived for the frock tails of beautiful women and spirits, Luke is cut from similar but different cloth according to Patrice Wymore, Errol Flynn’s third wife. ''I never met my grandfather, but everyone says that I'm a lot like him. We liked the same things -- the ocean, sailing, going to Jamaica, going on adventures.”- Says Luke. In all the legacy to inherit one can only hope that Luke will have somehow done away with the debaucherous ways of his legend of a grandfather. Errol “Robin Hood” Flynn is a Hollywood actor who –among others- are responsible for the evolution of Jamaica’s northeast coast. Errol’s yatch wreck arrival helped made true the transformation of Port Antonio from a fisherman’s paradise to a private haven for Liz Taylor and Marilyn Monroe types for decades after. Luke is the Heir of Errol Flynn’s estate of premium bred cattle, succeeding all 1,700 acres after his grandmother Patrice Wymore’s passing earlier this year.
Sky who celebrated her birthday five days ago is the breakout star in Jamaica’s most revered original film “Betta mus Come” by Nile and Storm Saulter. Luke (39) also did some acting in the 2010 comedy “Penthouse” among other works of which he esclaims were “really bad”. Mr Grey now makes films, still surfs and well, unwind with wife Nicole Grey Flynn.
