As we roll upon a brand new year filled with brand new opportunities we in our own little corners mentally or physically take note of what we aspire to accomplish. Whether we call them wishes, dreams, goals or resolutions the truth of the matter is we’re all looking toward 365 more days of DOING!
As we slowly regain our dignity and hang up our sequins and silvers Bianca Bartley, Creative director of Peace-is of Bianca is looking to balance work time and ‘her time’. While Miss Jamaica World Laurie-Ann Chin is looking on doubling up on her 2014 success - “I just want to invite a more healthy, loving and spiritual lifestyle! I have a lot of plans to see through and new dimensions to explore.”
The Wine Lady of Select Brands Debra Taylor stopped making New Year’s resolutions but stays resolved to live each day as if it’s her last. On a similar note Miss Universe Jamaica wishes to step out on the edge, no seriously, Kaci Fennell is dipping into her bucket list which includes bungee jumping, sky diving and underwater exploration. But what about the Miss Universe pageant? “I want to do well in Doral, hopefully that will mark my first big accomplishment of 2015”. A few of my other favorite people also shared their resolutions, dreams and wishes with me and hopefully it will inspire the cynical among us. As for myself; I just want to consistently be in control of my mind, body and spirit. The human body is powerful beyond measure with control, balance and whole health so that’s ultimately my goal for 2015.

"My hope for this year is to be more open to opportunities that present themselves.
Amazing things happen when you take risks and dare to venture outside your comfort zone.
2015 will be the year of new adventures and challenges!"
– Jeneque Pinnock, Model

"'ve come to realize that to reach for our dreams we have to step out from beneath the things
that keep us secure. Those are usually the things that stifle growth. This year I want to
remove the boundaries of fear and apprehension and take more risks ..
I want to touch life in its realest, most exciting realm"
– Melanie Schwapp, Author

"I want to travel more and make new connections in hopes
of achieving more globally."
- Yemi, Publicist

"My new year’s resolution is to focus on my health and
wealth while always keeping it fashionable"
– Fidge Fletcher, Creative Director

"This year I want to find more creative and innovative
ways to help family friends myself and my country"
- Sean Lyn, CEO 808 Experience

"This year I want to try to always remember that if I change nothing nothing will change
- If I want something I have to make it happen, if I don't like something I have to fix it.
I have to speak up."
- Alysia Francis, Model.

"My resolution is to be more authentic and better self for 2015. Here’s to 2015
– where even my wildest dreams will be shattered and exceeded. Let’s make sure we
make the best of it. Remember to live, love, laugh and always Pay It Forward"
– Paul Morrison, Creative Director of PATOO.

" I want cross something off my bucket list. Sky dive, bungee jump,
scuba dive, do well at the Miss Universe Competition etc.
No excuses, just more doing"
- Kaci Fennell, Miss Universe Jamaica
